I am proud of my contribution in the development of new business in the Korean market. Before I joined the group, Korea was not a focus area. By today we have managed to develop the area and create strong partnerships with both customers and local suppliers.
What was your biggest challenge on the job and how did you overcome it?
The biggest challenge is how dynamic this market is. Political developments, market demands, global events such as the pandemic can sway the market from one minute to the next. This can be stressful at times, thus the job requires strong motivation as well as self-control. I overcome this by staying concentrated on trading.
What’s the most exciting thing about working at BMS United?
BMS United is an international group, thus working here provides a lot of opportunities to work with professionals from different parts of the world. I also get to travel a lot – at least I did before Covid – which is priceless.
